Rock photographer Chad Lee has posted photos from the concert at www.rockconcertfotos.com.
Commented Lee: "The show has been long sold out, with the Double Dooor being a legendary intimate club here in Chicago and was packed to the rafters. The fans were eager to see the band back in action and hear what Dan had to bring, and they were NOT disappointed.
"The setlist included three new songs from the CD they are currently working on, with one of them being the show opener. Trust me when I say, it has a very classic, heavy ANTHRAX sound to it, and Dan has got PIPES!"
ANTHRAX will now fly to Los Angeles and join metal legends IRON MAIDEN on their "Somewhere Back In Time" world tour. ANTHRAX is supporting IRON MAIDEN at the May 30 and May 31 shows at Irvine, California's Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.
ANTHRAX is currently writing for its new album. This will be the band's first studio album since 2003's "We've Come For You All", and also its first album with Dan Nelson on vocals.
